Vicmap Position – GPSnet™ is a positioning and navigation correction service for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) users, throughout Victoria, Australia, and has two components:
1. Infrastructure:
- A network of over 100 Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS).
2. Services:
- Vicmap Position
- Networked Differential GNSS (NDGNSS) providing sub-metre accuracy state-wide,
- Networked Real-Time Kinematic (NRTK) providing a nominal horizontal accuracy of ±2cm across Victoria,
- Single base solution providing a nominal horizontal accuracy of ±2cm within 25km of the CORS, and
- Post-Processing of RINEX data, providing a nominal horizontal accuracy of ±2cm across Victoria.
Geoconnect is a Value Added Reseller (VARs), and on behalf of the Department on-sell Subscription licences to end users. Geoconnect is able to assist with equipment selection, training and where necessary, trouble-shooting.
